Ain't Misbehavin' - Television Production - 1982 (Pro-Shot's master)
MP4 (SD) ֎
CAST: André De Shields, Armelia McQueen, Charlayne Woodard, Ken Page, Nell Carter
NOTES: AM is a fun and very well done jukebox musical of songs by Fats Waller. Minimalist--no real attempt at a plot, but acting out the songs--great music, and great performances. Seriously, if you're not familiar with it yet, check it out!
American Idiot - Berkeley - October 4, 2009 (SunsetBlvd79's master)
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: John Gallagher, Jr. (Johnny), Michael Esper (Will), Matt Caplan (Tunny), Tony Vincent (St. Jimmy), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Whatsername), Mary Faber (Heather), Christina Sajous (Extraordinary Girl)
NOTES: [PETA ad at beginning features mutilated animal. Occasional but not constant strobe lights (think a couple of flashes).] You already know the music is going to be phenomenal. And then it's...even better? Songs like Tommy's Pinball Wizard sound better with a full chorus, yeah, don't @me. But when the ensemble here started singing and then harmonizing in American Idiot the song, I got actual chills. It's a happy surprise to see some actual weight diversity among the backup dancers (male and female!). And I am thrilled to report that the cast and their insane energy live up to the music and the video captures it all perfectly.
American Idiot - Broadway - February 19, 2011
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: John Gallagher, Jr. (Johnny), Michael Esper (Will), Van Hughes (s/b Tunny), Billie Joe Armstrong (St. Jimmy), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Whatsername), Jeanna de Waal (Heather), Libby Winters (u/s Extraordinary Girl), Chase Peacock, Gerard Canonico, Jennifer Bowles
NOTES: [Flashing strobe lights in this one are definitely a photosensitive seizure trigger.] See bolded name. Quality is...let's see...great for a RENT video from 1999? It's shot from close in the orchestra, which is a GREAT angle for this show, and the master follows the action well. But the audio is a little tinny, there's lots of washout, and it looks like it was shot on pretty rough zoom. But also, see bolded name.
American Idiot - Broadway - July 28, 2010 (SunsetBlvd79's master)

CAST: Patrick Stanke (Artus), Annemieke van Dam (Guinevere), Thomas Borchert (Merlin), Sabrina Weckerlin (Morgana), Mark Seibert (Lancelot) ↈ
NOTES: Very well-done proshot, with intro screens and all; A/V quality of the boot itself is also perfect. The cast speaks for itself, the music is fun (this is the basis for Xcalibur)...I really enjoy this musical/video and highly recommend it!

The Brothers Karamazov – Takarazuka Snow Troupe – Tokyo, Japan – March 5, 2009 (official DVD)
VOBs (with smalls) ↈ
Mizu Natsuki (Dmitri), Shirahane Yuri (Agrafena), Mirai Yuuki (Fyodor), Ayabuki Mao (Ivan), Ayana Oto (Pavel), Saou Kurama (Alexei), Ootsuki Sayu (Katerina)
Notes: Takarazuka Snow Troupe. Ripped from the commercial DVD.
TAKARAZUKA: Takarazuka Revue is an all-female Japanese theatre company (divided into troupes) and...way of theatre, I guess. Basically an entire culture, in which performers train from a special high school onwards, and features both translated Western musicals and Japanese originals, including plenty of romance plotlines.. This is a HUGE deal in Japanese theatre, very awesome, and not very common in trading.
Earth Girls Are Easy - Reading/Demo - Lark Theatre, NYC - September 30, 2002
VOB (with some smalls) ֎
CAST: Kristin Chenoweth, Julie Brown, Hunter Foster
NOTES: A one night only benefit reading to raise money for the Lark Theatre lab. Because whenever I think of the movie Earth Girls Are Easy, the FIRST thing that comes to my mind is, "You know what this should be? A MUSICAL." The cast and audience seem like they're having a great time, and the video is pretty nice, just a bit of generation loss (static at the bottom; doesn't really affect the picture). It's a fun video all-around!
Elisabeth - Essen - April 7, 2001
AVI (SD) - 2GB avi file - I would love to trade for VOB+smalls, if you have them! ↈ
CAST: Pia Douwes, Uwe Kröger, Carsten Lepper, Michael Shawn Lewis, Jesper Tydèn, Gabriele Ramm
NOTES: There are English subtitles available for this performance, but I don't have them, sorry.
Elisabeth - Essen, Germany - January 13, 2002 (Proshot’s master)

NOTES: Pro-shot of Pia Douwes' last show in Essen. Includes curtain call and encore! Definitely one of the best Elisabeth videos out there for an introduction to the show. Pia is wonderful and Uwe is the classic quietly possessive, creepily erotic, androgynous Death.
Elisabeth – Takarazuka Flower Troupe – Tokyo, Japan – 2002 (Closing night) (official DVD)
VOB (with smalls) – Wants only (says previous trader; please keep) ↈ
Haruno Sumire (Der Tod), Ootori Rei (Elisabeth)
Notes: Takarazuka Flower Troupe. Last Performance, DVD rip
VOB (with smalls)
CAST: Shirahane Yuri (Elisabeth), Mizu Natsuki (Der Tod), Otozuki Kei (Lucheni), Ayabuki Mao (Franz Joseph)

Elisabeth: Das Musical (Rondo of Love and Death) – Takarazuka Revue, Tokyo Theatre, Japan (shinjin koen performance!) – September 29, 2016

NOT MY NOTES: Takarazuka Sky Stage TVRip, HD picture. Shinjin koen performance of the Tokyo performances, the 2nd shinjin koen performance besides the one in Takarazuka.
Elisabeth: Legende einer Heiligen – Marburg, Germany – 2008 (Proshot’s master)
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Sabrina Weckerlin (Elisabeth of Hungary), Mara Dorn (Lady Sofia), Melanie Gebhard (Guda), Armin Kahl (Ludwig), Kristian Korsholm Vetter (Wolfram von Eschenbach), Norbert Conrads (Konrad von Marburg), Jesse Garon (Walter von der Vogelweide)
NOTES: This is about the other Elisabeth of Hungary, the 13th century saint. She was by all measures a wonderful person whose life was utterly ruined (and effectively ended) by one of the Middle Ages' absolute villains, Konrad von Marburg. The musical depicts this. This production took place in Marburg. Ergo.

NOTES: No mystery why I have this, and why you should want it. Rumpel (master) does a great job, too, as always.
[Der Glöckner von Notre Dame - see under H for Hunchback]
Godspell - Brasil (Brazilian CEFTEM Production) - September 4, 2015 (Papa Rose 2015’s master)
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Bruno Fraga (Jesus), Oscar Fabião João Batista/Judas), Gabi Porto, Laura Zennet, Bernardo Dugin, João Telles,Giovana Rangel, Vinícius Teixeira, Lyv Ziese, Carol Botelho
NOT MY NOTES: Excellent video of this marvelous production. Some heads at the bottom of the screen when it isn't zoomed in, but they only block the actors' feet.
Hamilton - Broadway - August 13, 2016 (Matinee) (SJ Bernly's master)
MP4 ֎
CAST: Javier Muñoz (Alex), Lexi Lawson (Eliza), Sydney Harcourt (u/s Burr), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica ), Christopher Jackson (Washington), Andrew Chappelle (u/s Lafayette/TJ), Ephraim Sykes, (u/s Hercules Mulligan), Anthony Ramos (Laurens), Jasmine Cephas Jones (and Peggy), Rory O’Malley (Your King)
NOTES: Gorgeous video! How is Christopher Jackson so good?
Hamilton - First National Tour (Angelica) - August 12, 2017 (Matinee) (SJ Bernly's master)
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ֎
CAST: Michael Luwoye (Alex), Solea Pfeiffer (Eliza), Joshua Henry (Burr), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Angelica), Isaiah Johnson (Washington), Jordan Donica (Lafayette/TJ, Mathenee Treco (Hercules Mulligan), Ruben J Carbajal (Laurens), Amber Iman (and Peggy), Rory O’Malley (Your King), Ryan Vasquez, Andrew Wojtal, Daniel Ching, Raymond Baynard, Jennifer Geller, Afra Hines, Dan Belnavis, Jeffery Duffy, Lauren Kias, Raven Thomas, Sabrina Imamura
NOTES: Cast has so much energy! Michael and Solea as Alexander and Eliza stand out, but everyone is great. Video/sound are excellent.
Hamilton - West End - November, 2018 (NYCG8R's master)
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ֎
CAST: Sifiso Mazibuko (s/b Alex), Rachelle Ann Go (Eliza), Giles Terera (Burr), Rachel John (Angelica), Obioma Ugoala (George Washington), Jason Pennycooke (Lafayette/TJ), Tarinn Callender (Hercules Mulligan), Cleve September (Laurens), Christine Allado (and Peggy), Michael Jibson (Your King)
NOTES: Besides the inherent hilarity of a show about the American Revolution playing in London? Rachelle and Rachel are excellent!
Hedwig and the Angry Inch - Broadway - May 4, 2014 (SunsetBlvd79's master)
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: Neil Patrick Harris (Hedwig), Lena Hall (Yitzhak), Justin Craig (Skszp), Matt Duncan (Jacek), Tim Mislock (Krzyzhtoff), Peter Yanowitz (Schlatko)
MASTER'S NOTES: Stunning HD capture of the triple Tony winner with no obstructions. Sparkling, dazzling and moving production that merits all the noise it is making. This was the performance where a lady brought her dog to the show, and Hedwig had fun with that! Also includes Bonus footage from a different performance: Origin of Love, Wig in a Box, Wicked Little Town, Long Grift, Wicked Little Town (Reprise), Midnight Radio.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch - Broadway - July 22, 2015 (SunsetBlvd79's master)
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: Taye Diggs (Hedwig), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Yitzhak)
MASTER'S NOTES: Excellent HD capture of Taye's first performance as Hedwig. He added a lot of material and even an improv song about hair extentions. He messed up some lines and the show ran almost 20 minutes longer then normal.
MY ADDITIONS: You can actually see Taye sink more and more into the role over the course of the show; incredible to watch. And amazing to see a performer of color as Hedwig, and on Broadway.
Helen of Troy – Reading (NYC) – June 13, 2005
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: Eden Espinosa (Helen), Bruce Vilanch (Zeus), Alice Ripley (Athena), Cary Sheilds (Paris), Brandi Chavonne Massey, Will Swenson
NOTES: Remember that time AC/DC wrote a concept musical based on ancient Greek epic poetry?
The Hunchback of Notre Dame - La Jolla Playhouse - November 8, 2014 (SJ Bernly's master)
MP4 ֎
CAST: Michael Arden (Quasi), Ciara Renée (Esmeralda), Patrick Page (Frollo), Andrew Samonsky (Phoebus), Erik Liberman (Clopin), Neal Mayer (Aphrodisius), Lucas Coleman, William Michals, Samantha Massell, Ian Patrick Gibb, Richard Ruiz, Beth Kirkpatrick
NOTES: U.S. premiere! Gorgeous video. Patrick Page as Frollo making a hard villain turn *during* Hellfire is incredible.
Hunchback / Der Glöckner von Notre Dame - Berlin - August 14, 1999
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ↈ
CAST: Drew Sarich (Quasimodo), Ruby Rosales (u/s Esmeralda), Norbert Lamla (Frollo), André Bauer (u/s Phoebus), Chris Murray (Clopin)
NOTES: The OG stage version! A/V quality is...I would describe it as "funky." Worth watching, though, for the staging and costumes! Also: three of the four male leads have starred in professional/major productions of Les Mis (Broadway, West End, Vienna, Duisburg), and two of them as BOTH JVJ and Javert...yeah, it's a stunning cast.
Hunchback / Der Glöckner von Notre Dame - Berlin - August 7, 2001
MP4 (SD) ↈ
CAST: Aaron Paul (Quasimodo), Ann Christin Elverum (Esmeralda), Erwin Bruhn (Frollo), Olegg Vynnyk (Phoebus), Chris Murray (Clopin), Wolfgang DeMarco (Charles), Martina Pettersson (Loni), Petter Bjällö (Antoine), Reinhard Schulze (The Archdeacon)
NOTES: Hardcoded English subtitles. File was probably a YT or other rip at some point, so caveat spectator. Very low-res, but otherwise surprisingly good video and excellent sound!
Hunchback / Der Glöckner von Notre Dame - Berlin - June, 2002 (Highlights) (Pro-Shot's master)
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ↈ
CAST: Aaron Paul (Quasimodo), Ann Christin Elverum (Esmeralda), Norbert Lamla (Frollo), Brad Spencer (Phoebus), Chris Murray (Clopin)
NOTES: Act 1 only. Multicam pro-shot, with some great close-ups and good choices for when to stay wider. A touch of generation loss on the video; great sound!
The Hunchback of Notre Dame - Papermill Playhouse, NJ - April 2, 2015
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ֎

NOTES: Another amazing performance from this cast, and pitch-perfect camera work: straight on, from the center mezzanine, no heads, great zooms. Probably my favorite HND video.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame - Papermill Playhouse, NJ - April 5, 2015 (Closing Night)
MP4 (HD) ֎
CAST: Michael Arden (Quasi), Ciara Renée (Esmeralda), Patrick Page (Frollo), Andrew Samonsky (Phoebus), Erik Liberman (Clopin), Neal Mayer (Aphrodisius), Jeremy Stolle (Jehan Frollo)

Frederic Charlus), Blair Beasely (Madam), Brian Dillon, Caitlin Humphreys, Daniel Beeman, Diego Rios, Emma Sohlberg, Jordan Grolnick, Lexi Lyric, Matthew Curiano, Nathaniel Irvin

NOTES: Follows the US staging. Far stage right is partially obstructed in full-stage shots, but it doesn't block any of the actual action. BEAUTIFUL video and audio.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame - German Revival Tour - February, 2019 (hitmewithyourbethshot's master)
MP4 ↈ
CAST: Jonas Hein (Quasi), Mercedesz Csampai (Esmeralda), Felix Martin (Frollo), Maximilian Mann (Phoebus), Gavin Turnbull (Clopin), Romeo Salazar (Aphrodisius), Nico Schweers, Thomas Schreier, Lois van de Ven, Stefan Poslovski, Marco Fahrland, Sina Pirouzi

NOTES: Very severe angle for filming, but the video itself (especially the sound) is great. It's filmed from pretty high up, and the master did a great job capturing the show's action in the aisles, too! Traded as MKV+VOB+smalls.
The Lion King - Hamburg - 2002
AVI (SD) ↈ
CAST: Gino Emnes (Simba), Marc Hetterle (Scar), Michael Edward-Stevens (Mufasa), Senit Zadik-Zadik (Nala), Velephi P Mnisi (Rafiki), Oliver Grice (Timon), Lakke Magnusson (Pumbaa), Joachim Benoit (Zazu), Anastasia Bain (Shenzi), Jerrel Houtsnee (Banzai), Enrique Segura (Ed), Otis Jacinto (Young Simba), Malia Coungrana (Young Nala)
NOTES: An avi (1.62GB single file)--possible YT rip. Master was working around a few heads visible in the full-stage shots, but did a GREAT job avoiding them while even being artistic with medium/close-up choices!
Lion King (“Die perfekte Illusion”) - Theater am Hafen, Hamburg, Germany – TV documentary – 2018/2019? (Proshot’s master)
MP4 (not HD, but high quality) ↈ
NOTES: [In German] A very cool “behind the scenes” TV documentary feature about the 2019ish Der König der Löwen production in Hamburg, even featuring the lightning and the actors’ physical fitness training.
The Lion King - Hamburg - January, 2020 (Rumpel's master)
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ↈ
CAST: Hope Maine (Simba), Bernd Lambrecht (Scar), Mhlekazi Mosiea (Mufasa), Yanisleisy Aguilar (Nala), Thenjiwe Nofemele (Rafiki), Tobias Korinth (Timon), S‘Thembiso Keith Mashiane (Pumbaa), Joachim Benoit (Zazu), Ista Kamara (Sarabi), Noluthando Sithole (Shenzi), Simon Gwala (Banzai), Sean Gerard (Ed)

NOTES: Filmed from the mezzanine--it's so neat to see the puppets from the raised angle! Nice video and audio.
Mamma Mia! - Stuttgart Revival - August, 2013
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Willemijn Verkaik (t/r Donna Sheridan), Eva Serrarens (Sophie Sheridan), Jerry Marwig (Sam Carmichael), Matthias Otte (u/s Harry Bright), Marek Sarnowski (Bill Austin), James Cook (Sky), Betty Vermuelen (Tanya), Barbara Raunegger (Rosie), Pierre Damen (Pepper), Denys Magda (Eddie), Annakathrin Naderer (Ali), Rebecca Stahlhut (Lisa)
MASTER'S NOTES: Filmed during Willemijn's short stint as Donna, and she's simply phenomenal in the role. Acts it brilliantly, sings it even better and is just adorable and awesome all around. The rest of the cast are also great, The video is filmed from central stalls and features a completely unobstructed view of the stage.
MY NOTES: I have recently been working hard to add more non-Wicked boots with Willemijn to my collection, and I continue to be rewarded.
Marie Antoinette – Tecklenburg - July 6, 2012
VOB (no smalls) ↈ
CAST: Anna Thorén (Marie Antoinette), Marion Furtner (Margrid Arnaud), Patrick Stanke (Axel v. Fersen), Yngve Gasoy-Romdal (Don Cagliostro), Marc Clear (Herzog von Orleons), Wietske van Tongeren (Agnes), Frank Winkels (Louis XVI), Corinna Ellwanger (Rose Bertin), Roberta Valentini
MASTER’S NOTES: Anna Thorén was sick and couldn’t sing, so they brought Roberta Valentini (Marie Antoinette in Bremen 2009) to sing her parts from off-stage while Anna acted.
MY NOTES: This is a fantastic capture from the front row. The taper even has an angle to catch Roberta's side, behind the screen, as she's singing. Video quality is also superb, and the show/cast are terrific.
Marie Antoinette – Freilichtspiele, Tecklenburg - August 11, 2012 (Pro-Shot’s master)
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Anna Thoren (Marie Antoinette), Sabrina Weckerlin (Margrid Arnaud), Patrick Stanke (Axel v. Fersen), Yngve Gasoy-Romdal (Don Cagliostro), Marc Clear (Herzog von Orleons), Wietske van Tongeren (Agnes)

NOTES: Yes, this is the house-cam video from the pre-Broadway version that captures the whole show clearly with perfect sound. I’ve talked to multiple longtime traders who say this is not actually NFT; it just got labeled that way on Encora. If you know otherwise for sure, please let me know!
Moulin Rouge - Broadway - January 2020 (StarCuffedJeans' master)
MP4 (HD) ֎
CAST: Aaron Tveit (Christian), Amber Ardolino (u/s Satine), Danny Burstein (Harold Zidler), Sahr Ngaujah (Toulouse-Lautrec), Ricky Rojas (Santiago), Dylan Paul (u/s The Duke), Robyn Hurder (Nini), Jacqueline B Arnold (La Chocolat), Holly James (Arabia), Jeigh Madjus (Baby Doll), Reed Luplau (Pierre)
NOTES: So let's get this out of the way first: the movie is completely bonkers and should be so bad but is so, so good. No stage production is going to compare to it, especially seeing it fresh. Plus, Ewan McGregor. But if you can't have him, at least Aaron can get most of the way there, and Amber is better than Nicole Kidman in any case. SCJ is a champ, so you already know this video is awesome quality.
Die Päpstin – Fulda – June 2018 (Rumpel’s master)
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Sabrina Weckerlin (Johanna), Mark Seibert (Gerold), Christian Schöne (Anastasius), Reinhard Brussmann (Aeskulapius), Lutz Standop (Rabanus / Fulgentius), Daniele Nonnis (Arsenius / Ratgar), Sebastian Lohse (Vater / Papst), Anke Fiedler (Mutter / Marioza), Larissa Windegger (Riechhild), Olaf Meyer (Lothar)
Pflanz der Vampire: Ein kabarettistisches "Grusical" - Tschauner Bühne, Vienna - 1998 (TV broadcast)
MP4 (SD) ↈ
CAST: Unknown
NOTES: Uwe Dröger ("more boring") and his friends audition for Tanz der Vampire, and the "plot" unfolds with song parodies, meta and other jokes, and it's one of the true treasures in my collection.
Das Phantom der Oper (Sasson & Sauter version of POTO) – Lübeck, Germany - January 2020
VOB (with smalls) – VLT by master’s request, 3:1 trade
CAST: Uwe Kröger (Eric/Phantom), Deborah Sasson (Christiné), Jochen Sautter (Raoul)
MASTER’S NOTES: A capture of the non-ALW tour version. Following very much its own plot, but still borrowing scenes from Webber’s version. Constructed as a star vehicle for Sasson, who is the oldest of the trio. Uwe Kröger has lost his voice, a pity to watch him. Well filmed though. Quality: A-) VERY LIMITED TRADE!
MY NOTES: This is musical theatre—writing a musical and casting yourself in the lead role is a thing that is done. I’m not going to criticize a woman for simply doing what men even get Tony nominations for. (This time I am looking at YOU, Hamilton). But rewriting one of the most popular musicals of all time, in order to cast yourself in one of the most iconic female roles of all time…when you are canonically four decades older than the character?
tl;dr: It’s Phantom of the Opera where Madame Morrible sings Act 1 Nessa and the music is perky.
Roméo & Juliette (Presgurvic) - Vienna - 2006
FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (packaged as ISO) ↈ
CAST: Marjan Shaki (Juliet), Lukas Perman (Romeo), Mark Seibert (Tybalt), Rasmus Borkowski (Mercutio), Mathias Edenborn (Benvolio)
NOTES: Perfect-quality proshot of the show, plus a separate making-of documentary. The VOBs are inside ISOs; they extract and play perfectly. The show is great, especially the dancing. The costumes are...well...Romeo wears a sweater that looks like a crocheted throw blanket with bell sleeves, and then you have half-dressed Mark Seibert with dreadlocks and a codpiece.

Thrill Me – Seoul, Korea – August 26, 2014
VOB (with smalls) – Wants only (says previous trader; please keep) ↈ
CAST: 송원근 Song Won Keun, 신성민 Shin Sung Min
CAST: This was described to me as the story of murder husbands, and I think "husband" is a little too domestic and romantic for this. (Especially since it's based on a true story.) HEAVY content warning for sex and violence; not to everyone's (including my) taste. But if it's to yours...
tick, tick...BOOM! - Jonathan Larson's Demo
VOB (with some mysterious files) ֎
CAST: Jonathan Larson
NOTES: Jonathan and a piano perform 30/90, Johnny Can't Decide, Sunday, and Why. Video quality ironically puts RENT videos for at least a decade to shame. You bring to this video the reasons you want to watch it and the things you're looking for in it, and it's worth it.
tick, tick... BOOM! - Off-Broadway - May 31, 2001
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ֎
CAST: Raúl Esparza (Jon), Jerry Dixon (Michael), Amy Spanger (Susan)
NOTES: Sound quality is very nice, especially the singers--super clear, although there's some graininess in the background. Video quality is okay. The whole thing is filmed midrange, unmoving camera and it works well; the problem is that the whole thing is shot at a weird, distorting tilt (not like the usual "my camera wasn't upright"). Not ideal. Still, this is great if you want to see the show's staging!
tick, tick... BOOM! - Off-Broadway - September 18, 2001
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ֎
CAST: Raúl Esparza (Jon), Jerry Dixon (Michael), Amy Spanger (Susan)
NOTES: Quality is not really better or worse than May 31, just mediocre in different ways.
Todos Vuelven: Un musical para el Perú – Lima, Peru - 2019 (Proshot’s master)
MKV (HD) ↈ
CAST: Emilia Drago, Erika Villalobos, Andrés Salas, Laly Guimarey, Sandra Muente, Mónica Dueñas, Miguel Alvarez, Jairo Tafur, Diego Seyfarth
NOTES: [Photosensitive seizure warning] Proably a rip from the July 2020 streaming---certainly the quality is crystalline gorgeous. The show itself is also beautiful. It's very dance-heavy, and the lighting design is its own artwork, really wonderful. The show itself is a vignette of stories of Peruvian history, probably somewhat mythologized (hi, Hamilton!). This is a very cool boot, and I want to stress again, a glorious video visually.
Urinetown - Broadway - August 29, 2001 (Preview)
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: Hunter Foster (Bobby), Jennifer Laura Thompson (Hope, Jeff McCarthy (Officer Lockstock), Spencer Kayden (Little Sally), Nancy Opel (Ms. Pennywise), John Cullum (Caldwell B. Cladwell)
Urinetown - Berlin (Germany) - April 30, 2005 (Pro-Shot's master)
VOB (with smalls) (SD) ↈ
CAST: Aris Sas (Bobby), Sara Fonseca (Hope), Thorsten Tinney (Officer Lockstock), Katharine Mehrling (Little Sally), Gabriele Ramm (Ms. Pennywise), Ilja Richter (Caldwell B. Cladwell)
NOTES: I did not know this existed. I never dreamed it existed. The video is fantastic quality with a great cast and I won't spoil how they translate "Urinetown."
We Will Rock You - West End - February 11, 2003 (Pro-Shot's master)
VOB (with smalls) ֎
Cast: Tony Vincent (Galileo), Hannah Jane Fox (Scaramouche), Sharon D Clarke (Killer Queen), Alexander Hanson (Khashoggi), Kerry Ellis (Meat/Oz), Nigel Clauzner (Brit/J.B.), Nigel Planer (Pop/Buddy/Bap)
VIDEO NOTES: Nice pro-shot with full-stage and great zooms. Some generation loss on the visuals; sound is excellent. Time lapse running across the bottom. Flashing strobe lights (it is, after all, a glorified rock concert), so definite photosensitive seizure warning.
SHOW NOTES: Other bands: "We will make a jukebox video musical out of our songs, and give it sort of a plot based on a couple of random names we mentioned in one song, but hey, there will be costumes and you'll hear cool covers of your favorite songs." Queen: "Hold my beer."
We Will Rock You - Cologne (Germany) - August, 2005 (Pro-Shot's master) video
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Alex Melcher (Galileo), Vera Bolten (Scaramouche), Brigitte Oelke (Killer Queen), Martin Berger (Khashoggi), Michaela Kovarikova (Meat/Oz), DMJ (Brit/J.B.), James Sbano (Pop/Buddy/Bap), Harald Tauber (Teacher), Willemijn Verkaik
NOTES: Fun video with intro speech; multicam; nice quality. Is it worth it even though Willemijn is in the ensemble instead of a main role? If you've seen the show, you know how very much it is. (Plus Alex Melcher is always great.)
We Will Rock You - Cologne (Germany) - October 13, 2005 (Bandnight)
VOB (with smalls) ↈ
CAST: Alex Melcher, Kevin Perry, Martin Berger, Sandy Moffat, Willemijn Verkaik, Serkan Kaya, Michaela Kovarikova
NOTES: Not the show itself, but a small, more intimiate-venue concert. Starting off with Robbie Williams' "Let Me Entertain You" is a nice touch. Great quality video and sound.
We Will Rock You - First National Tour - October 27, 2013 (SunsetBlvd79's video)
VOB (with smalls) ֎
CAST: Brian Justin Crum (Galileo), Ruby Lewis (Scaramouche), Jacqueline B Arnold (Killer Queen), PJ Griffith (Khashoggi), Erica Peck (Meat/Oz), Jared Zirilli (Brit/J.B.), Ryan Knowles (Pop/Buddy/Bap)
NOTES: Amazing quality video of this show! (I forgot to c-p Sunset's description, but the excitement and praise is right-on.) My copy has all the files; some are missing the first VOB. Contact me if you need it.
