MASTER’S NOTES: Closing night. There is no break. Some of the songs have been switched out of order. (for example: Le Duel and Quel est le Prix happen before Aimer). The following songs were cut: La Reine Mab, Le Poete, Par Amour, La Folie, Le Pouvoir, Avoir une Fille, Sans Elle, Je Sais Plus Being very in character, The actor who played Tybalt had a black eye during this preformance. (I assume something went wrong during practice, the fighting scenes looked very intense.) Also everyone was dressed as a barbie doll during Le Bal. And Tybalt was wearing a very short and a very thight pink dress, which kept riding up during the scene. So when he is arguing with Lord Capulet during Le Bal 2, he was doing so mostly while standing in his underwear or while trying to tug his dress down. It was truly a hilarious sight.

MASTER’S NOTES: A wonderful quality audio taken from the left side orchestra. An absolutely wonderful show that the audience went wild for. Mykal gets a lot of cheers after "On The Deck...", "The Steam Train" and a bunch of standing ovations after "Flying Home." Colin has mic issues during the beginning of "The World was Dancing." Shoshana hits an audience member with a cork during "Surabaya-Santa" and says Sorry in the middle of the song. She also has a bit of a nip slip (she says 1 second) and turns her back to readjust. The audience gives her a big round of applause, she laughs and continues the number.

NOTES: You know why I have this--earliest WWRY boot with Willemijn! The sound quality isn't the greatest, though. It's very clear in general, but suffers from the overbass/overdrums that thumps out the vocals. It's okay on some songs, but (for example) Fat-Bottomed Girls and Another One Bites the Dust are a loss.

NOTES: Oh my. My, oh, my. Audio-wise, it sounds like a produced album. Show-wise...this is a science fiction musical set in a future utopian/dystopian police state where computers are real but can't feel (as the opening song insists for approximately as long as it takes to upload a 16GB file, or possibly longer). The apparent protagonist is unjustly arrested and convicted because it's his turn and he has no family to miss him, and is sentenced to life imprisonment on what I assume is the prison planet of Xylog. Then there's an S&M subplot? ("Chains" "bondage" "beat her" "kiss her"---it's not subtle.) I don't care whether or not this demo was supposed to be a joke. It is transcendent.
