MASTER'S NOTES: Excellent video shot after Jenni had left the production but the new Glinda hadn't started, so Tiffany Haas was filling in. There are occasional moments of blurriness, but the quality and general steadiness makes up for that. It's filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

TRADER'S NOTES: Tthe best selection of highlights possible, song-wise. Quality, alas, is not ideal. A rough angle from the orchestra, filmed mostly mid/full-stage range so the stage front is visible, lots of spotlight washout. Unfortunately, the proximity to the orchestra means the drums kind of interrupt the singing sometimes. That said, the picture is otherwise extremely sharp, and the colors are some of the best I've seen.

MASTER’S NOTES: Nice capture of the Second National Tour cast, with a big mishap when the power suddenly goes out in the middle of Thank Goodness. Helene and the rest of the cast keep right on going until a crew member comes onstage and stops the show. The DVD includes video of the entire debacle until the curtain goes down, and it continues for a bit after this, then cuts out, then resumes again when the show is picked back up during Wicked Witch of the East. As for the video, the first part of the show is mostly blacked out, but once it gets to The Wizard and I, it's much better. The dragon's head blocked Marcie's face during Defying Gravity, but other than that, there's virtually no obstruction. Overall, an amazing capture with no spotlight washout, amazing colour and sound.

Rebecca's Mrs Danvers, Oak Joo Hyun is killing it with her ruffs and Kim Bo Kyung, Rebecca's Ich (Wow, did you realize they were in the same production a month before and is in a same production again?) is a bouncy, funny but at times serious Glinda. During catfight after Fiyero swings in, Kim throws the hat accidentally to Oak's face but Oak and Kim both managed to stay in character despite some laughter from audience."
